Love Accents and 20 years of Celebration with Dolce & Gabbana.

Stefano Gabbana (left) and Domenico Dolce

The Milan Menswear Fashion shows for Spring/Summer 2011 will be closing this Tuesday, but last Saturday there was an opening event celebrating one of the worlds most sought-out brand Made in Italy, Dolce & Gabbana. An evening presenting an exhibition of 20 years of menswear for Domenico and Stefano as well as three books; Icons 1990-2010 Dolce & Gabbana, Fashion Shows 1990-2010 Dolce & Gabbana and 20 years of Dolce & Gabbana for Men. (ed.Electra) This anniversary falls at a very significant moment also from the point of view economically, together with their vision of having constructed a solid house of fashion (including womenswear) with hard work without ever betraying their spirits.

Book cover: 20 YEARS of DOLCE & GABBANA FOR MEN

The beautiful photographs shown here in this blog, are from the book 20 years of Dolce Gabbana for Men; a story of a brand name highlighting celebrities wearing their clothes for famous fashion publicity campaigns, international “red carpet” film festivals presentations and awards, cult films of the 1950 and 1960 that where inspirations for Dolce & Gabbana in their work.

Enjoy!

Great choices of men! I adore Hugh Grant for his sexy humor and Robert Downey Jr has that dark handsome appeal.

D&G - how gorgeous. Did you attend fashion week?
I used to attend London FW but that is years ago now.
The men.. what a sexy parade! Grazie tanto! x
I do love the 'floppy' and preppy look of Hugh Grant, but also like a rustic and classic man like George Clooney, though I prefer when he is not so groomed and proper. Like a bit of edge and have always had a weakness for messy hair. Apart from that, it's all about the eyes for me.
